The exhibition «Faces of old Uralsk»

On November 26, 2024, the city exhibition gallery hosted the opening of the exhibition «Faces of Old Uralsk», dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of the Ural artist Viktor Hoffman-Kotelnikov. The opening of the exhibition was attended by the student theater «ECHO» - 4th year students of the EP «Teacher training in foreign languages and literature» Oksana Lobikova, Azilkhan Zharasov, Elizaveta Iskalieva. They presented a reading of M.Y. Lermontov's ballad «The Airship». The director and head of the ECHO Theater is the teacher Shunaibekova K.M. The script of the performance was written by teachers Chechetko M.V. and Frolov I.M. All students and teachers who took part received letters of thanks and books as a gift. The exhibition also featured a portrait of the teacher Frolov I.M. performed by the Ural artist Vlad Yarotsky.

The organizers of the opening day were the NGO «Center of Russian Culture», the Youth Recreation Center of the Department of Culture of the city of Uralsk, the cultural and educational foundation «Old Uralsk», the memorial museum of M.A. Sholokhov (village of Daryinskoye) with the support of the regional department of public development and the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Uralsk.

The opening of the exhibition was congratulated by the head of the Kogamdyk Kelisim KSU Aigul Serikovna Turkina, Chairman of the NGO «Center of Russian Culture» Sergey Bykov, head of the exhibition hall Akhmet Giniyatov, director of the Old Uralsk Museum Gennady Mukhin, Vice Consul Konstantin Pogorelsky.
