Event «Language through Art»

Purpose of the event: to demonstrate the significance of the three languages — Kazakh, Russian, and English — in modern society through various forms of art, to develop students’ creative abilities, and to foster respect for linguistic diversity.

Participants: first-year students of non-language majors.

The evening was opened by students of the “Music Education” program. Student Daniyar Rakhymgali performed the song “Üsh Til,” dedicated to the importance of mastering several languages. Then a group of students performed the song “Muzyka nas svyazala,” as well as a song in English.

Students of group HO-11 presented their creative works on the theme of languages and art. A student of group FCS-13 recited the poem “My Kazakhstan” by Vladislav Talnov, and a student of group P-11, Zainap Seitova, recited “Happiness” by S. Yesenin.

Students of the “Directing” program — Kanat Zholdaskali, Islam Boranbay, and Sofya Kuanyshkaliyeva — presented a creative dialogue in which languages argued about their significance. In the conclusion, the Kazakh language emphasized that in the modern world all languages are important, as each of them plays its own role in communication and the development of society.

The event was held in a creative and friendly atmosphere, generated great interest among students, and contributed to strengthening respect for the state, Russian, and English languages.
